Our New Flagship Store - Burnside
We were thrilled to reopen the doors of our flagship store at Burnside Village on October 16th, 2021 following an extensive renovation project. We were even more excited to share our beautiful new space with you all over the past couple of months.
After initially opening our fourth store as a pop-up shop, we fell in love with the space and ambiance at Burnside. To make it our forever home though, we felt like it needed a bit of love - Shouz-style. We embarked on a journey to transform our space into a warm, inviting one reflective of our close-knit, family-owned business...with some help, of course.
The journey began with the team at Georgie Shepherd Interior Design, an Adelaide-based boutique interior design and architecture firm, who had previously designed our Hyde Park store. Their signature pared-back elegance aligned perfectly with our vision for our new flagship.
Working with soft blush and neutral tones set against textured surfaces, terrazzo and our signature brass finishes, GSiD struck a delicate balance between form and function. The end result was a calming space that presented the perfect backdrop for our eclectic range of shoes and the in-store customer experience.
This project certainly wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the South Australian businesses who worked tirelessly to bring our vision to life. As a proud SA business, it was really important for us to work with other local businesses and to keep the sourcing of materials local as well. We’d like to thank each and every one of these teams for their dedication to and hard work on this project. We couldn’t have done it without you!
