Introducing Eloisa, our dynamic Social Media and Marketing Intern at Shouz, bringing her creative ideas and learning about the best strategies in digital marketing within our team for 12 weeks. Where did you grow up?

I was born and raised in Adelaide, Australia, just about a 10-minute drive from the city centre. I attended Mercedes College and am currently Studying at the University of Adelaide. My heritage is Italian, with my mother's family originating from the northern region and my father's family from the south.

What do you love most about Adelaide?

I love Adelaide's wine regions, especially McLaren Vale. Ever since I was young, my parents have made me taste almost every cheese board available over countless Sunday lunches. I also love Adelaide's layout, as it is easy to travel around, especially regarding driving times. It means I can spend efficient time with my friends and easily catch up to our favourite cafes and brunch spots around the city.

What is your favourite dish to make/eat?

If it counts, my favourite 'dish' would have to be ice cream. I'm— a massive sweet tooth and anything with chocolate is a sure winner for me! When it comes to savoury foods, I absolutely adore Vietnamese cuisine. There's something about the flavours, especially the diverse entrees, that I just love.

What is your favourite colour?

My favourite colour is pink. I always have a touch of it with me everywhere I go, whether it's my bag, shoes, phone case, ribbon, or water bottle. In my opinion, pink is just the prettiest colour out there and matches everything.

Give us a funny, interesting, quirky fact about yourself:

I love reading, and one day, when I was about 12 years old, I started writing a list of every book I would read in a notebook. At first, I started it to keep track of the books I had read, and now it has become a procedure that every time I read a book, it is added to the ever-growing list. Today, my list has reached approximately 685 books.

Your favourite quote would be?

'Whoever said money doesn't buy happiness didn't know where to shop." Said the character Blair Waldorf from one of my favourite TV shows, Gossip Girl. It's a quote that resonates with my love of clothes, shoes and bags and reflects my slight shopping addiction.

What are you studying at Uni, and what drew you to that degree?

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Media and a Bachelor of Project Management at the University of Adelaide. It's a unique combination of degrees, but it comes from a creative brain mixed with a logical one. Media draws out my creativity, writing, and love for design, while Project Management shows my love for structure, organisation, and collaboration with others.

When did you start working at Shouz? And what is your role within the company?

I have started as a Social Media and Marketing Intern within Shouz and am here for 12 weeks. Coming up to just over a month already, time is flying by. I am learning and contributing to the social media channels and am loving working with the team and, especially creating, editing and recording reels!

Which Three (3) pairs of shoes are your favourite picks right now? And why?

1. Hawley Black Mesh Heels by Billini

I absolutely adore a pair of heels, and the black mesh of the Hawley pointed toe heel by Billini has quickly become one of my favourite pairs. The classic look that I love to wear for a day at the office with a skirt, blue jeans, or dress pants suits my neutral style perfectly. I also love them for a night out to dinner or with friends when looking for a heel at a comfortable height.

2. Belie Black Patent/ Cream Leather Ballet Flats by Mollini

The ballet flats trend has been all over my social media, and I love to keep up with the latest fashion, so I was instantly drawn to the Belie flats by Mollini. The quilted design is elegant and sophisticated, and the neutral colour matches my countless pairs of wide-leg pants and skirts. They are perfect for an everyday elevated look and are gorgeous, with the thin leather bow at the front adding something a bit extra.

3. Oskher White Leather Sneakers by Mollini

Again, back to my love for neutral and simple colour schemes with my outfits, the white Oskher sneakers by Mollini are a personal favourite. The simple cut and style are perfect for every day and go with everything in my wardrobe. They are also so light on my feet, fit my orthotics, and are vital to polishing off any outfit.
