Shouz Staff Profile - Meet Priscila

We sit down with Priscila, a vibrant and adventurous sales assistant at Shouz, to learn more about her journey from Brazil to Australia. She shares her love for Brazilian cuisine, her obsession with hair products, and her passion for fashion, including her admiration for Kate Middleton's timeless style. Priscila also reveals what makes working at Shouz a rewarding experience surrounded by a supportive team of amazing women.

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in a city called Recife, north-east of Brazil. This city has the biggest Brazilian street carnival in the world, known for its beautiful beaches and amazing food. I lived there all my life. In 2019 I left Brazil to live in Australia.

How did you come to live in Australia?

I came with my husband to study English in Sydney for a few months, and after 5 months, we moved to Adelaide and fell in love with this city, its stunning sunsets and welcoming people, and we decided to live here and build our life and family. It's a hard decision to leave your loved ones, but it's been an amazing adventure. 

What is your favourite dish to make/eat?

Well, I am a big fan of Italian and Brazilian food, but my favourite dish is a classic Brazilian food called Feijoada. It is made with black beans and always has a mixture of salted, smoked, and fresh meats. My husband and I often eat it on Sundays for lunch. 

What is your favourite colour?

At the moment my favourite colour is burgundy red. This colour injects instant elegance into any outfit. I have so many outfits in this colour, and I find it easy to style.

Your favourite quote would be?

"If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way.” ...

Give us a funny, interesting, quirky fact about yourself...

I'm a bit obsessed with hair products. Since I was a teenager I always loved taking care of my family and friends hair. One day I want to do a professional course to learn more. On one of my trips back to Brazil, I ended up bringing a whole suitcase of hair products back.

When did you start working at Shouz? And what is your role within the company?

I started at Shouz in March 2023, and I have been working as a sales assistant in Burnside Village and having fun being a model for Shouz as well.

What do you enjoy most about working here?

What I like the most is our team, everyone is welcoming and kind, so it makes it easy for me being surrounded by amazing women.

They are super comfy, and I love their oversized laces.

2. Riku Ivory Patent Leather Wedges by Django & Juliette 

These are such versatile sandals, I got them last year and just love how they elevate my casual outfits.

3. Asten Black Leather Heels by Top End

I fell in love with these stunning heels and super soft leather. I can wear them all day.

Kate Middleton's style is always flawless. I love her dresses and 

sophisticated outfits, always balancing elegance and practicality.
