Shouz Staff Profiles - Meet Beth

When we say we have the best team, we’re really not exaggerating. It’s not just our customers who appreciate our lovely Beth’s calming energy. Articulate, focused and composed, she instantly makes you feel like everything is under control, no matter how crazy things get. We don’t think we’ve ever seen a flustered Beth. We’re sad to say though that we’ve never met her pet green tree frog - Nelson - either, but are already a little obsessed with him (you will be too when you Google green tree frogs). 

Where did you grow up?

-I’ve lived in Adelaide my whole life 

Style icon? 

-Zendaya

Favourite food?

-I really love Vietnamese food and I have a soft spot for anything chocolate!

Favourite colour?

-Probably either blue or orange, depending on the day

Give us a funny, interesting, quirky fact about yourself:

-I have a pet green tree frog named Nelson who I’ve had since I was 6.

-May 2021

What do you enjoy most about working here?

-It’s a fun, kind, relaxed environment with very friendly staff and customers. It’s clear that Shouz has built up a loyal community over the years and I’ve loved meeting so many friends of the store since starting here! 

Favourite shoe trend of the season and how can people shop it at Shouz?

-I love that you can wear sneakers with absolutely everything at the moment - it’s such a comfortable trend! A perfect Shouz sneaker to dress up and down has to be the Eos Jovi! 

Favourite Shouz brand and why?

-Mollini, but I also adore the Woden sneakers. For Mollini - good quality, good variety, and trendy styles. And Woden’s feel like walking on clouds!

Current favourite style we stock and why?

-I think I’ll go with the Gabor Shiv. It’s a really classic and trendy style that can go with a lot of different outfits. Gabor also make great quality, comfortable shoes.

How would you style this shoe? 

-They’d look great with a wide leg pant or a long summery dress!
