Shouz Staff Profiles - Meet Jamie-Lee

The dynamic Jamie-Lee has been with us since May 2021. Detail-oriented, hardworking and always on top of things, we appreciate her organised approach to her work as well as the attention and care that she showers customers with in-store. Nothing is too much trouble for her and if you’ve been lucky to be served by her, you would’ve certainly noted her attentiveness and thorough understanding of our brands and their range of styles (which puts the rest of us to shame).

Where did you grow up?

-Mostly in Adelaide

Style icon?

-Jennifer Lopez

Favourite food?

-I love all cuisines but my top choice would have to be Asian food (any kind of bowl like Poke bowls or Bun bowls).

Favourite colour?

-Any pastel colours

Give us a funny, interesting, quirky fact about yourself:

-I’ve lived in a total of 18 houses in my whole life until now (which was between three cities and a small town).

Working at Shouz since:

-May 2021

What do you enjoy most about working here?

-I love that the owners value the staff the same way they value the customers, with loyalty, respect and understanding. They truly go above and beyond. I also love the community of women that has evolved over the past 43 years of being in business and who still shop with us now!

Favourite shoe trend of the season and how can people shop it at Shouz?

-I love heeled mules because they’re so versatile - you can dress them up or down. The Petora EOS mule is a beautiful choice.

Favourite Shouz brand and why?

-This is very hard to choose as I love each brand for its uniqueness but one of them would probably be Mollini. I think Mollini’s styles are quite feminine and suit many different occasions.

Current favourite style we stock and why?

-The Django and Juliette sneaker Laila. It’s my favourite because it works so well with many different outfits year-round. It’s the most comfortable sneaker I’ve ever owned - I can wear them all day standing for hours with no problems.

How would you style this shoe?

-I personally love styling the Laila with a flowy summer skirt and a basic top.
